Labuan Bajo, one of Indonesia’s super priority destinations and renowned for the sea’s beauty. However, in these advantages, there are several challenges faced, like the inadequate quality of human resources, environmental and sustainability issues, and ineffective technology use. So the implementation of smart tourism destinations which have an impact on competitive productivity in a regenerative context can resolve these challenges. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between smart tourism destinations and regenerative tourism participation through competitive productivity to achieve sustainable tourism. The data was collected from 105 tourism business owner or management levels in Labuan Bajo with likert scale questionnaires and the relationship amongst the variables was tested with Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS). The result indicated that smart tourism destinations didn't have a positive and significant relationship with regenerative tourism participation and competitive productivity. Competitive productivity also has a positive and significant relationship with regenerative tourism participation. Other than that competitive productivity also fully mediated the relationship between smart tourism destinations and regenerative tourism participation.
