The University of Surabaya (Ubaya) launched an inter-university chess championship in Surabaya. The championship was held at the Multi Function hall of the university’s Faculty of Psychology on Jalan Kalirungkut Surabaya until March 10. The universities in Surabaya took part in the championship were Petra Christian University, Widya Mandala Catholic University, 10 November Institute of Technology (ITS), Airlangga University, Surabaya State University. Adhitama Institute of Technology (ITATS), STTS, Unitomo, Untag, UPN, UHT, and STIKOM.
