2016年の夏にインターンシップにきたインドネシア人ラビニア・エリシアが山口県内の4つの廃校を訪れた際に提案した内容です。

I made an abandoned school book.
With the cooperation of the School Reconstruction Summit / Yamaguchi, in which we participate, we have created a book on closed school.
This is a proposal that Indonesian Ravinia Elysia who came to the internship in the summer of 2016 visited four closed schools in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
(Former Yatsushiro Elementary School, Former Arata Elementary School, Former Arata Elementary School, Former Kameyama Elementary School)

Indonesian academic Lavinia Elysia has studied and proposed what is happening now in Japan as the future of Indonesia and the world.This book was created not to lament the ever increasing number of haikō but rather in the hopes that it would provide an opportunity to re- think how society works.

Lavinia Elysia is a designer, part-time lecturer and urban sketcher. She was born in Surabaya, grew up in Malang, 1993. Graduated in 2015 from Interior Design Department of Petra Christian University, Surabaya. Her concern of art, nature and people leads her works into design and education for nature and social sustainability.
