A Study of the Hubbards' obsessions in Lillian Helman's the little foxes

This thesis is basically a study of the Hubbards' obsession that happens in Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes. In this study, I highlight the obsession of the
Hubbards' greediness as the major problem of the analysis. Therefore, I want to find out their obsessions of their greed, the way they reach their goals, analyze
the consequences of their obsession to their life. I use some literary theories, such as characterization; conflict and setting that influence the ways the
Hubbards' live. I also include the history of the South and the concept of ambition and obsession to support my analysis. In my analysis, I find that each of them has their own reason such as money, power, status, and prestige and to be richer even though each of them is already rich. The ways they get what they want are by cheating, stealing and trickery. Finally, their greediness makes them break their family relationship and lose the wealth that they have accumulated and each of them has to bear the consequences of their actions.
