Hide & Seek is a short-animated horror film that explores the distorted imagination of a lonely child within a Victorian household. The story follows a young girl named Catherine who, after receiving a doll from her emotionally distant father, begins an unsettling game of hide and seek. The film uses stylized characters and realistic environments to heighten contrast and tension, relying on atmosphere, pacing, and indirect horror elements. This project was created as part of a 3D animation study, with the aim of exploring the technical and narrative challenges of the horror genre. Key areas of focus included character modelling, environmental design, animation, simulation, and sound design.
