Pressure for using renewable energy keep getting higher in the future.
Global warming and sustainable energy plan has forced Indonesia to adopt
renewable sooner or later. One of the easiest renewable energy to adopt is
solar energy. Usage of solar panels has grown rapidly in developed countries
like America, Germany, Aus China. Solar panels Industry has also
contributed positively toward those countries. As a developing country, it is time
for Indonesia to adopt solar panels.
The research is conducted to know how to increase the intention to
purchase solar panels for household in Surabaya using theory of planned behavior.
The author use cluster random sampling method. Data was gathered by distributing
100 questionnaires. Then, the data was analyzed by using structural equation
modelling. From the research, it can be concluded that attitudes, subjective norms,
and perceived' have significant positive impact on purchase
intention of solar found out the factors that should be focused to
increase attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control.
