The main subject of this thesis is to give some recommendations to the
Hu?s Garden Restaurant to choose the right media that is effective and profitable
for advertising and do promotional activity.
The writers explore advertising and promotion activity that can be done
by Hu?s Garden. It is very useful as to compare the advantages and disadvantages
from several media that they can use in the future if one day they want to promote
their restaurant more with several events they will do.
In examining the analysis, the writers use SWOT analysis and
questionnaire analysis. From SWOT aspects the writers can suggest which media
have the potential strength and suitable to technology and trends nowadays. The
questionnaires analysis is used to determine how many respondents ever eat in the
restaurant and we also try to determine which media has the biggest chance to win
the respondents attention. Therefore, the writer can measure how efficient and
effective that media that can be used as advertising media. The writers also give
suggestion to Hu?s Garden Management, which media is suitable to be used
related to the budget side. When a suitable media is found, the next step is to
determine media mix selection.
