Kegiatan belanja oleh pria semakin meningkat namun masih jarang terdapat
penelitian mengenai hal tersebut, secara khusus mengenai perilaku belanja pria dan
persepsi yang masih terdapat di benak masyarakat luas. Langkah pertama penulis
mendeskripsikan mengenai persepsi yang terdapat di benak mahasiswa dan
mahasiswi Universitas Kristen Petra sebagai masyarakat terdidik, kemudian
diperbandingkan apakah persepsi tersebut sesuai dengan realita perilaku belanja pria
di hypermarket.
