ASEAN Free Trade Area brings effects for the Company UVW especially
with foreign chemicals with competitive price. How is the readiness of Company
UVW in facing the free trade area, because there are still a lot of things that need for
the company to consider.
The writer uses descriptive method as the research method through primary
and secondary data analysis in this report and the writer find that there is still a lot of
lack on the company in facing AFTA especially in Human Resource Management,
Technology, Pricing Strategy, Product Quality and also the role of marketing.
Company UVW still lack of skilled labor whether in production, use of technology,
also marketing staff in order to maintain the customer and set the pricing strategy.
Company UVW has to improve the role of Human Resource as the
competitive advantage. Moreover, human resource is holding the main part of the
company. The good human resource management can improve the company ability
in free trade competition, skilled labor is a must in order to improve the company?s
effectiveness and efficiently through in production quality, in maintaining the
customers and also in using the technology.
