Menjajaki peluang job training di Singapura bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepariwisataan Universitas Kristen Petra Surabaya - Digital Collection of Petra Christian University

Petra Christian University has given a real contribution for tourism
development, especially for the travel bureaus in Surabaya. This is because of the
effort of the university to make the students get involved in the job training
program in those bureaus.
Nevertheless, in order to fulfill the challenge of the tourism development
in the next few years, particularly in the global market era 2003, holding the job
training program in Surabaya only will not fulfill the demand for professional
liuman resources in the tourism field.
That is why. the writer wants to probe the possibility of job training in
Singapore, as a preparation for the students of Tours and Travel Department of
Petra Christian University, to enter the global market era, so that the students will
be readv to serve not oniv nationally but also internationally.
