Reducing under shipment problem in packing, dispatch and enamel warehouse department at PT Doulton - Digital Collection of Petra Christian University

PT Doulton is one of the world?s leading manufacturers and distributors in the premium ceramic tabletop and collectors market. Because of that, the company has to always focus to reach customer satisfaction to maintain its competitiveness. It is not enough to just produce the right product, but also have to deliver that right product at the right quantity and at the right time. To deliver the finished best wares, there are many processes and resources should be in controlled. Packing, Dispatch and Enamel Warehouse Department is one of department in PT Doulton, which kept, packed, and delivered the finished wares to the customers. But there are under shipment reports occurred every month at packing, dispatch and enamel warehouse department. Through this thesis, it is expected that the under shipment problem could be reduced by analyzing the factors that might cause it.
